Responsibilities

The Welder in Advanced Manufacturing is an entry-level role designed for individuals interested in joining metal parts using various welding techniques to ensure strong, clean welds.

Responsibilities include:

  1. – Using MIG, TIG, or Stick welding techniques to join metal parts with precision and skill, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
  2. – Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to understand job specifications and ensure proper alignment of parts before welding.
  3. – Inspecting welds for defects and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  4. – Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition, following safety protocols to prevent workplace accidents, and working in a physically demanding environment.

  1. Welding Techniques: Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding methods.
  2. Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
