Responsibilities
The Building Automation Systems (BAS) Technician is a skilled role responsible for the installation, programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated systems used to control and monitor building operations.
Responsibilities include:
- – Install, program, and maintain automated systems for HVAC, lighting, security, and energy management to ensure optimal functionality and energy efficiency.
- – Perform regular system diagnostics, conduct preventative maintenance, and implement system upgrades as necessary.
- – Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and building managers to integrate systems and meet performance standards.
- – Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to building automation systems, using a strong understanding of control protocols and programming.
- – Manage time effectively and work independently to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintenance.
